Yttrium Vanadate

YVO4

Undoped yttrium orthovanadate (YVO4), usually just called vanadate, is widely used in beam displacement applications due to its large birefringence. Combined with its excellent transmission, physical and mechancial characteristics, this makes it an excellent synthetic substitute for calcite and rutile crystals. It is used in both free space applications and also in fiber optical components.

Grown using the Czochralski method, Roditi offers upto 25mm in diameter and 30mm in length. Appropriate coatings for the crystals can be specified on request
