KTiOPO₄

KTP (Potassium Titanyl Phosphate, KTiOP₄) has promising E-O and dielectric properties comparable to those of lithium niobate.

Together with a high damage threshold, low optical loss and wide transmission range, along with good thermal and mechancial stability, KTP crystals are now being used as E-O modulators in applications such as mode-locking of Nd:YAG, Ti:Sapphire and other lasers.
